Our Story
Who we help
Currituck Kids provides monetary grants for discretionary spending to the Currituck County School System and other similar avenues, to benefit children who would not otherwise receive assistance. These grants are intended to help children with a general short-term or one-time need, depending on the situation. Each situation is unique and carefully analyzed to determine the level of assistance that CKi may provide. Sometimes kids just need a “boost,” and we are here to help!

Our sponsors and contributors are not only leaders in the community, but also everyday citizens who understand that by addressing the needs of our community’s underserved children we can make a huge impact in not only that child’s future, but the future our our county as well. They understand that a child has a better chance of a healthy and fulfilling educational experience and growing into a healthy adult if their basic needs are met. Healthy and fulfilled adults make for engaged and productive citizens.

Our volunteers are paramount to the success of Currituck Kids, inc. There are many volunteer opportunities throughout the year in which you can lend a helping hand.
